Disabled Bathrooms and Wetrooms

At Hillrose Property Services Ltd, we can help you find the right bathing solution. We understand that it can be difficult or uncomfortable to use your existing bathroom because of a disability or injury, so a walk-in shower or wetroom may be what you need.

We specialise in bathroom aids and adaptations, and have considerable experience in this area. We will work to your specific needs to design a bathroom that meets your requirements, is completed to a high standard of workmanship, and is completed within a set timeframe.

We can also supply and fit specially designed level-access shower rooms. This provides a stylish and practical solution to any access difficulties you may experience, as these showers have very low threshold trays, making it very simple to get in and out. Walk-in showers are becoming increasingly popular and are the preferred choice for the majority of our customers. Many walk-in showers have no door, enabling easy access; some are also specially designed for wheelchair access.

Alternatively, we provide walk-in baths. If you or a family member is having difficulty using your existing bath, this provides the perfect solution. There's no need to struggle or fear slipping, as walk-in baths are safe and comfortable to use. A walk-in bath allows you to protect your independence and privacy, removing the need to rely on others for help.

Wetrooms make entering and leaving the shower area much safer thanks to slip-resistant floors, and removing a shower tray makes them perfect for wheelchair users. There is no grout, so there is no chance of mould developing, making it more hygienic too. We design the wetroom to your exact specifications, so if you require additional safety features such as grab bars, folding seats, thermostatic controls, or half-height screens, these can be accommodated.

Accessible bathroom featuring a walk-in shower with a seat and grab bars, a white sink, and a toilet with a support arm.

Wet Rooms

What is a Wetroom?

A wet room is a perfect solution for those with mobility issues. By opting for a wet room, you eliminate the need for steps, shower trays, or other obstacles, with the shower flush with the floor and water draining through an outlet set into the floor. With a wet room, you have an open-plan solution that can be designed and installed to meet your specific needs.
