Disabled Bathrooms and Wetrooms

At Hillrose Property Services Ltd, we can help to find the right bathing solution for you. We understand that it can be difficult or uncomfortable to use your existing bathroom due to a disability or injury, so a walk-in-shower or a wetroom may be what's needed.

We specialise in bathroom aid and adaptations, and have considerable experience in this area. We will work to your specific needs to design a bathroom that meets your requirements, is completed to a high standard of workmanship, and is completed within a set timeframe.

We can also supply and fit specially designed, level access shower rooms. This provides a stylish and practical answer to any access difficulties that you may experience, as these showers have very low threshold trays, making getting in and out very simple. Walk-in-showers are becoming more and more popular, and are the preferred choice for the majority of our customers. Many walk in showers have no-door, and as such enable easy access - some are also specially designed for wheelchair access.

Alternatively, we provide walk-in-baths. If you or a member of your family is experiencing difficulty using your existing bath, this provides the perfect solution. There's no need to struggle or be fearful of slipping as walk-in-baths are safe and comfortable to use. A walk-in-bath allows you to protect your independence and privacy, removing the need to rely on others for help.

Wetrooms make entering and leaving the shower area much safer due to slip-resistant floors, and the removal of a shower tray makes them perfect for wheelchair users. There is no grout, so there is no chance of mould developing, making it more hygienic too. We design the wetroom according to your exact specification, so if you require additional safety such as grab bars, folding seats, thermostatic controls, or half height screens, these can be accommodated.

Wet Rooms

What is a Wetroom?

A wet room is a perfect solution for those with mobility issues, by opting for a wet room you eliminate the need for any steps, shower trays or obstacles, with the shower being flush with the floor and the water draining through an outlet set into the floor. With a wet room, you have an open plan solution and can be designed and installed to meet your particular needs.
